HV 30/1 Engine Test Bed with MP Computer

HV low-inertia hydrostatic engine test beds

  • are able to test low-speed internal combustion engines with one or few cylinders at any speed between low idle speed and maximum speed without dangerous vibrations. Only a cardan shaft is required, damping elements or damping couplings are not necessary.

  • may be water-cooled or air-cooled. Water-cooled test beds (see big picture) are mobile as complete unit.

  • don’t require any special foundation.

  • require only few hours of preparation before they are ready for operation (connection to an external cooling water circuit or an air-cooled oil heat exchanger and to the electric supply, filling in the specified oil, cleaning procedure for the oil).

Proven modules

  • The integrated MP Computer ensures safe and easy handling of HV engine test beds.

  • RWB mobile operation trolleys (construction kits for engine supports) minimize the times of standstill of the engine test bed, as the engines can be built up separately.

  • As a special equipment for engines with strong vibrations massive base plates for fixation of these engines are mounted with vibration insulation on the RWB trolley. With these platforms, even strongly vibrating engines (see small pictures) can be operated at any place without special foundation.
